Victoria Beckham new hairstyle!
Thu, 09/11/2008 - 09:41 | 2 comments
Victoria Beckham unveiled her new hairstyle at Marc Jacobs 2009 Spring Collection on Monday, second day of NY Fashion Week.
Does she remind you of anyone? Black hair, crop... Liza Minelli? Halle Berry as "Jinx"?? Katie Holmes???
Explaining the radical new look, Beckham told The Daily Telegraph: "You know, I just like to change things up. I get bored very, very quickly and I just fancied a change."
Posh Spice's last hairdo was a bob - christened 'the Pob' - and became one of the most requested looks in hair salons up and down the country.
She has also tried out hair extensions and a bleached blonde look.
Which style do you prefer best?

Katie Holmes goes for pixie cut?!
Fri, 04/04/2008 - 15:01 | 1 comment
She started extra long, went medium with classic now bob a la Katie, added fringe and now...time for pixie, 2008 must-have hairstyle! What next? One thing is sure - I won't be disappointed - it looks like with features like Katie's you can pull of anything!
"How to's": The cut is not extremely short; Katie left quite long back and lovely, thick bangs - this way she gets the fashionable cut as well a very feminine look. Best of both worlds!
What do you think of this new haircut? Like it? No? All opinions welcomed!

My hairstyle icons - Audrey Hepburn
Wed, 03/26/2008 - 21:17 | 2 comments
Today I came across a list of Most Iconic Screen Hairstyle Of All Time according to Lovefilm.com. That gave me an idea to create my own list of women and men, whose hairdos have made a significant impact through out the history. I have already few candidates for the title of “hairstyle icon” but I would love to hear your opinion – suggestions welcomed!
I decided to start with Audrey Hepburn – no 3 on the Lovefilm.com list, with her timeless updo from “Breakfast at Tiffany”.
The key to Audrey's look is her fringe. Not many of us feel comfortable with short fringe, but in Audrey's case, it made her look extra-cute. Short fringe emphasised her stunning eyes and perfectly shaped, strong eyebrows. If you thinking of getting Audrey's look go for uneven pattern and textured bangs,
so that they appear light and natural.
Audrey's hairstyle "how to's":
"Women can look like Audrey Hepburn by flipping out their hair, buying the large glasses and the little sleeveless dresses" said Audrey. Let's have a look at two of iconic hairstyles.
1. If you have long or medium hair, go for the timeless updo. Part your fringe and pull the rest of your hair in a ponytail and back-comb it a little to give it extra texture. (if your hair is not long enough, make another ponytail couple inches below the top one and hide it underneath it.) Tuck the ends under the ponytail and spray with firm hold spray. This is a perfect style for prom or wedding.
2. For short hair go for Audrey's pixie. This style is back in fashion so try out adding fringe to extra short hair in the back.
