Oh, I waited for this one!
Ever wondered what the most desirable 'do is in a man's mind? Would he still find these starlets as attractive if we just showed him their locks? Armed with pics of celebrity styles (with their faces blanked out, naturally!), journalists from Handbag.com took to the streets to find out which manes men secretly love and loathe, with some surprising results....
Real guys say what they think about most popular celebrity hair styles!
Here are just the best comments:
On Kate Moss's fringe: "It looks like a party wig!"
Sienna Miller's crop:"Cute, cool and fun"
Victoria Beckham's Pob:"Great shape. Classic but still stylish".

mullet hairstyleI know, I know: when you here mullet you get goose bumps! But the mullet I am talking about is nothing like McGyver's or Kim Wilde's. This season mullet is getting an update!

Mullet "how to's":
The cut is pretty straight forward: your stylist should thin out hair at the top, leaving few longer sections falling over the shoulders. Make sure that your stylist uses a razor - this way the cut will last longer.
Styling: Mullet looks great when it's a bit messy so go for pomades and matt finish wax like TIGI Catwalk Catfight Texturizer.
Is it for you? Mullet works best for girls with fine, supple hair. (I deliberately say girls - men should stay away from this hairstyle!) Mullet suits best oval faces and long necks. Hair Craft recommends soft make-up to go with it - you don't want to look like you just escaped from the set of "Life on Mars" :)

Regency hair style from Burberry Prorsum's Men's Spring/Summer 2009Women's and men's fashion seems to go hand in hand, no surprise then that fringe will be a massive trend in 2009 men's hair styles! But don't worry guys - men's fringe comes in variety of lengths and shapes so you won't end up all looking like Kate Moss :)
The look:While the back end the sides stay neatly trimmed, the fringe should be longer, even eye-brow length. We like it best side swept, with layered detail.This textured hair style, with its longer fringe, is the 2009 incarnation of the 'Caesar cut', named after the hair style Roman dictator perpetuus Julius Caesar. To achieve this effect try using a matte wax or a pomade to create the rugged texture.

Kate Moss was seen last week sporting this medium length bob. No more fringe and the colour is the most fashionable this season platinum blonde.
Kate seems to have temporarily quit her trade mark messy hairstyle and went for stylish, sleek do with side parting - I think she looks like a spitting image of Faye Dunaway in "Bonnie and Clyde"!Faye Dunaway

Kate Moss medium bob "how to's":
1. Cut - the simpler the better. Hair should be cut just above your shoulder;
2. Colour - If you are natural blond - good on you. If not, think twice before reaching for peroxide - blonde is not everyone's colour!
3. Styling - Give your hair some volume with volume spray or conditioner and blow dry it smooth. I wouldn't advise using straighter as we are not looking for this dead straight look!

men's hair trends 2009We have seen it all, let's face it. Every season designers are trying to reinvent the wheel but they won't full Hair Craft!
Last season we have witnessed revival of the 60's Rockabilly hairstyle. In 2009 it looks like we are going even further back in time: to 19th century Britain! What does it mean? Return of classic cut with modern influence.
Three big trends in men's hairstyles 2009 are:
1.fringe in variety of lengths and shapes;
2.side parting a la Carry Grant;
3.slick back - think George Clooney.

And for the daring - platinum blonde as a must-have colour!

In next few days I will go through men's hair trends for 2009 in detail so watch this space!

blond sues L'OrealThis the funnies thing I've heard for a long time - a blond sued L'Oreal for ruining her life as she "accidently" dyed her hair dark brown with one of L'Oreal's products.

Charlotte Feeney of Stratford, Connecticut says she can never return to her natural blonde hue, a shock that left her so traumatized she needed anti-depressants. Apparently the lack of attention that blonds receive left her deeply distressed - she ended up staying at home with a hat on her head!

A Superior Court judge dismissed Feeney's 2005 lawsuit Monday, saying she never proved her allegation that L'Oreal put brown hair dye in a box labelled as blonde. Dough!!

I do believe Ms.Feeney speaks the truth - being brunette must have been a shocking experience for her - being able to follow up on presidential debate, read a map, program DVD recorder...Scary stuff - luckily nothing that bit of peroxide or Schwarzkopf Blondme can't fix!
